Our client, a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity solutions and enterprise security platform management, is seeking a Sr. Information Security Engineer. This role offers the exciting opportunity to be a subject matter expert in designing and maintaining security platforms and telemetry data pipelines using cutting-edge tools like Cribl to enhance data observability and security operations.

### Role Summary:
The Sr. Information Security Engineer will serve as a key technical expert within the security engineering team, responsible for the design, configuration, and operational support of security platforms. This includes managing telemetry data pipelines and event stream processing with platforms such as Cribl, ensuring effective security data routing, transformation, and incident response support. The role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders, troubleshooting escalated security platform issues, and continuous process improvement through automation.

### Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and implement security configurations to ensure compliance with security controls across platforms including telemetry data management tools like Cribl Stream and Cribl Copilot.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate new and emerging telemetry controls into security platform architectures.
- Lead intake and requirements grooming discussions with engineers and stakeholders to optimize security data pipelines.
- Troubleshoot escalated security platform incidents, focusing on telemetry data ingestion, transformation, and routing.
- Monitor health and coverage of security platforms to maintain enterprise-wide protection and observability.
- Identify and implement process improvements through automation and configuration changes within security and telemetry platforms.
- Support incident response activities by ensuring timely access to quality security telemetry data.
- Influence technology decisions related to security data management and observability platforms.
- Maintain current knowledge of cyber threats, countermeasure technologies, and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain security engineering documentation, including architectural diagrams and configuration guides.
- Conduct and participate in training sessions to build team capabilities in telemetry data and security platform management.

### Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity technologies with a focus on enterprise security platform design and telemetry data management.
- Experience administering multiple security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, and event stream processing platforms like Cribl.
- Proven expertise with Cribl products (Cribl Stream, Cribl Edge, Cribl Copilot) for telemetry data routing and transformation.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and networking concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex security platform and data pipeline issues.
- Deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape and corresponding security controls.
- Positive, customer-service oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.

### Required Skills/Experience:
- Expertise in security platform design and telemetry data pipeline management.
- Proficiency with Cribl telemetry data processing and routing platforms.
- Experience with EDR, SIEM, UEBA, SOAR technologies.
- Working knowledge of Cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac).
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

### Other Skills:
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CCSP (preferred).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, GDPR.
- Experience with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Cyber incident response experience.
